Karakoram 7’10” x 10’1″. A hand-knotted “Folk Theme” carpet from Northwest Frontier Province (NWFP) of Pakistan. Made of handspun, all natural colored wool (no dyes are used in this carpet, only the natural colored wool from the sheep) living in the high plateaus of the Karakoram Mountain Range.

A fine Tibetan carpet hand-knotted in Kathmandu, Nepal. Made of natural dyed handspun Himalayan wool and silk. The inspiration of the design is an Ashanti Kente cloth from Ghana, West Africa.
