Very Fine Afghan Bokhara Vegetable Dyed Wool Square Rug

Hand knotted in Northern Afghanistan by Turkmen women using handspun, vegetable dyed wool. The Bokhara pattern consists of an octagon surrounding a quartered hexagon. The madder red’s beautiful abrash radiates throughout the piece while the very fine weave sets off the classic primitive design fabulously.
