Fine Haji Jalili Tabriz Rug
Hand knotted in northern Afghanistan by Turkmen women in a cottage industry setting using handspun vegetable dyed Ghazni wool on horizontal looms. This beautiful design is inspired by an antique Persian Tabriz from the workshop of the famous weaver known as Haji Jalili. The more you examine this stunning piece, the more you appreciate the beauty and thought that went into creating this work of art. After the weaving is completed, the rug undergoes a rigorous antiquing process. This carpet took four weavers approximately one year to produce, their fine work culminating into a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind, luxe carpet.
