Antique Persian Hamadan
Hand knotted in a village around Hamadan, western Iran. Hamadan rugs can originate from any one of hundreds of villages across the vast region. While materials used can vary from one village to another, one uniting characteristic of this area is that virtually all Hamadan rugs are single-wefted, unlike most tribal rugs which are double-wefted. The piece will be a joy to its future owner for many years to come.
