Antique Senneh Kurd Handwoven Tribal Rug

This striking 19th-century Persian runner pairs an elongated warm ivory field with a lively, allover lattice of stylized floral and boteh-like motifs, drawn in deep brown and enlivened by teal, aqua, coral, and soft rose tones. A rich sequence of borders adds depth and structure: a wine-and-burgundy inner frame with mossy olive notes, and a bold midnight‑navy main border filled with scrolling florals in pinks, reds, and golden-green accents. Handwoven in wool with a beautifully aged surface and nuanced, naturally softened color, it’s an elegant statement for a hallway or long entry, bringing history, warmth, and refined pattern in one timeless piece.

The condition is very good though some of the guard border on both ends has been lost (see photos of the top and bottom of the rug).
