Persian Sarouk Rug
$4,500.00
Hand knotted ca. 1925 in the province of Arak, western Iran by weavers using local wool and natural dyes. This style of Sarouk originates before the first World War, but it wasn’t until the 1920s that these rugs were exported in large quantities. Sarouks are known for their curvilinear and floral designs. This gorgeous Persian Sarouk is in mint condition and is among the finest Persian Sarouks we have ever seen.
