Antique Yomut Turkmen Kepse Gul Handwoven Rug

Turkmen weaving is both highly collectable and invigorating. The various Turkmen tribes of Central Asia are known for their elaborate and often rigid social structures, the paradigms of which are reflected in their weaving. This beautiful Bokara rug is from the Yomut tribe. It is a true antique and exceptionally beautiful.
