Antique Anatolian Kurd Runner Rug
$500.00 - Sold -
Out of stock
Hand knotted by a Kurdish weaver in eastern Anatolia. Turkish Kurdish rugs are different from nearly all Persian Kurdish rugs. They always have woolen warps and two woolen wefts, and their construction is generally pretty loose, lending to their shaggy appearance and feel. These rugs are often known for their orange color, which can sometimes be used excessively. This piece however uses color beautifully. This antique Persian Kurdish rug is worn, but in the proper application it still has many years of life. This is a clearance rug. All sales are final.
